A Declaration

“Become totally empty
Quiet the restlessness of the mind
Only then will you witness everything unfolding from emptiness”
Lao Tzu
Then again, I guess it's not a bad thing.

  1. I love this pic and quote Tracey!!! I'm still trying to "quiet the restlessness of the (my) mind."

  2. Thanks, Chris. Sigh... I had somewhat of a revelation last night on my 'emptiness'; after talking with a good friend, he told me that I am never empty as God is in me & Jesus is in my heart. The restlessness inside me truly needed to be quieted because I was turning it into a pity party, which isn't good. So, I had quiet time this morning & resolved to try to make a daily practice of quieting myself & taking focus off of me. It's the only way I can 'witness everything unfolding from emptiness.' :-) Have a great day!
