dont outrun the sky

When I watch the clouds in the sky

they make me feel small


and insignificant


while they put on their ominous slide show


and threaten to show their power

then they notice me watching

with my small, insignificant self



and they lighten up

and move on their way. Leaving me feeling not so small and insignificant after all.
