Three Word Wednesday

After much anticipation, when she laid eyes on him
she felt careful

All she had thought of was hm & how it would be
to receive/give a hug

Yet her shielded heart protected her from inside
Not wanting to see or feel her make another
mistake

    Oh I can identify with this one. It is hard to trust again. Nice poem and good use of the words
