Sunday

Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? ~ Matthew 6:26

  2. What a precious photo! I look at birds sometimes enviously, wondering if they realize that the God of the universe is looking out for them. :-) He has each of our lives covered. If only we would walk daily in that knowledge!

    1. I agree, Allison; I watch them go about their lives without worries or cares. I believe they know they're in God's hands which is why they're so carefree. No 'human' worries; what a walk that would be indeed! :-) Blessings, friend.

  3. I love your photo! I believe it's a purple martin house. I wonder how the birds feel being so close together in one place. We have 2 pair of resident bluebirds that are a riot to watch especially in the Spring when birds make the mistake of hustling in on their nesting site. For such a tiny bird they are vicious when defending their turf. I also love their beautiful blue color.

  4. Thanks, Chris. This sits in the middle of the park where I do all my walking. At this particular moment, the house was busy with coming & going so it wasn't hard to catch the bird in mid-air coming 'home.' Bluebirds are incredibly beautiful and I know what you mean about them being fierce when they want to; they come to my bird bath and dominate - all the other birds stay back when they come! Lol. Nature is funny, and oh, so beautiful. :-)
