Retreat

re·treat

noun \ri-ˈtrēt\
a place of privacy or safety : refuge

I find that one way I can break the stress factor is to grab the camera and retreat to an unknown path.

  1. Great pictures and great memories. Your eyes too capture the scene; your nose the scents and your ears tell you the secrets that only you hold and remember.

    1. Thanks, Rinkly. The woods are my most favorite places to retreat. So quiet & peaceful with a life & color all its own.

  5. Good eye, Miss Tracey. I also enjoyed your October 6 posts where you’ve caught fall in full bloom as it were - I was brought up in northern New England and miss the blasts of sunlit reds and oranges!

  7. YES!
I, too, find retreat and respite in nature and on my own. Don't have to leave my property, just walk out and look, REALLY look, through the lens. You capture my experience here with brevity and images.

    1. I agree, Kim. Thank you for your thoughts. There is always respite for those who seek it, whether in our own backyards, our homes or where ever. The point, as you said, is to REALLY look. I love to let images speak for themselves.
