Prayers to those who are still dealing with the effects of Hurricane Issac. We finally got a slight touch him starting last night & ending this morning. It was so nice to wake up & roll back over to the sound of heavy rain @ 7:00 a.m. Once again, I realized how the rain, with all its power, yet all it's gentleness, can also soothe.

    1. My thoughts, exactly, Joanne! What are the odds. And to have another part of the 'super-dooper, reinforced' levies to collapse. I'm just glad better preparations were made this time around. Thanks for your kindness!

  2. Oh Tracey, your photos are beautiful!!! I hear you about the rain. Here it's more of a drizzle but I wouldn't mind having/hearing a more serious rain especially since we desperately need it.

    1. Thank you, Chris, my dear. We're due to have more humidity & thunderstorms all day today, even though now it's calmly beautiful. The clouds are starting to move in though. I hope it does rain again. We really do need all we can get. Blessings! :-)
